Rep. Joe Sweeney Slams Mayor Joyce Craig's Support for Granting Drivers Licenses to Illegal Immigrants

Salem, NH - Granite Solutions Chairman and State Representative Joe Sweeney released the following statement after Manchester Mayor and NH Gubernatorial wannabe Joyce Craig reiterated her support for drivers licenses for illegal immigrants:

"It is infuriating to see Mayor Joyce Craig, a gubernatorial wannabe, advocate for the provision of driver's licenses to illegal immigrants. Her support of this misguided policy suggests a willingness to sidestep our nation's immigration laws, rather than upholding them. I must assert unequivocally - there will never be a good time to give driver's licenses to illegals. Our focus should be on respecting the rule of law, promoting legal immigration, and safeguarding the welfare of our lawful residents. Such measures from Mayor Craig do nothing more than undermine these essential principles."
